ETP has appointed two new managers to Secretariat team

The Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) has further expanded its London team with the appointment of two new managers.

Julia Kilbourne, who has extensive experience in ethical supply chain management and of ethical initiatives in African horticulture, has been appointed project manager and will be developing new programmes and initiatives for the ETP as well as establishing new relationships with key opinion formers.
 
Francis Meynell, a qualified researcher specialising in organisational change and sustainable development, has become audit manager with responsibility for liaising with tea estates globally that supply ETP member companies on issues of worker welfare and employment conditions.

Dr Gavin Bailey, executive director of the ETP, said: "These two appointments bring fresh blood and new perspectives to the work of the ETP secretariat.  We are now better placed to drive forward our international programmes and to develop and build on relationships with key opinion formers."

The Ethical Tea Partnership is a non-commercial alliance of major tea packing companies working together to promote social responsibility in the world tea trade and ensure the ethical sourcing of tea.  It is funded by its membership which, together, invests more than £1.5 million per annum in its work.
